This album has taken a few years to come out. This CD is the Marcie Flores (lead singer of PATSY and PAIGE) solo album that we recorded in Rob Hondrick's (of EAR BEYOND and DON SALSA) sister's bedroom way back in 1994 through 1995. It's basically just Marcie singing while playing (mostly) acoustic guitar. Sitting around for years and delayed for months, It is a must-have for her fans to take a peek into her early career.
CD (SPIF-004) $9.00 [includes s&h]

CARNIVAL OF SUFFERING
This is Jason Kamimura's (of BOB) solo side project.
Basically a Noise Album with lots of all different types
of music thrown together in a circus type atmosphere.
Jim McCray of GYMICRAE sez it's good to take drugs to,
but that would be bad, right kids? Anyway, this was our
first release so get it while you still can, ok? Ok!

PORN SAMPLES
Our embarrassingly #1 seller. This is a 70s and early eighties
porn flick dialogue sample tape. This is the last time we'll offer
this on tape as we are about to re-release a cd version that will
differ from the tape version. This tape doesn't have a lot of
annoying "ooohs" and "aaaaahhhs" just really cheesy 70s
dialogue and silly samples. The tape is 60 minutes and the CD is
a little over 70 minutes long. Get it now on tape cuz as of the
end of the year that version will be retired.
(SPIF-005) CASS. $5.00 or CD $8.00 [plus $1. s&h]

SHLUMPF "NASTY AMBER"
This is an extensive collection of live tracks, early demos, and rareties from early 90s punk band SHLUMPF. There are around 35 recordings on this one. TWO full live concerts and a bunch of rare demos and recordings PLUS a bonus super-rare solo recording by former lead singer Jim McCray (now of GYMICRAE) that features Mike Naz of PAIGE (and formerly of PRAISE OF FOLLY) on guitar. You can only get this one here, kids. And it's on an O.G. 90 minute cassette! (SPIF-003) $6.00 [plus $1. s&h]

(AND COMING SOON...)

"BEFORE THEY WEREN'T FAMOUS"
This tape is our first oficial comp coming straight out of sometime in early 99 with lots of weird early recordings by bands and people you may never have heard of and may never hear from again or they just might become household worlds. It'll be an odd mix of one-track to eight track recordings with samples from early childhood home-made tapes thrown in between songs for good measure. It'll be a wacky 90 minutes long on cassette. Tentative bands that may be on this comp are POPULAR GIRL, CARNIVAL OF SUFFERING, RAD GIRL MARCIE, VERY LARGE ARRAY, EEENIE MEENIE, EAR BEYOND, ETSETERA, BOB, COMMUTER, PONG, QUIN95, SIX VOLT SUNBEAM, THE PAJAMAS, Thom Whaling, AGENT CHESTER DESMOND, and a billion more or so.

"NO-FI "MAGAZINE" COMPILATION #1"
This will be the official music comp fot the "magazine" with tentative and hopeful tracks by POPULAR GIRL, VERY LARGE ARRAY, THE FILM VERSION, GIRLSCOUTS ON A SWING, SARCASTIC BITCH, EAR BEYOND, RECTAL ASSAULT, PONG, FERDINAND, TRIPLE CHIN, and many more that are on my wish list that I have to boil down to under twenty bands in all.

GIRLSCOUTS ON A SWING "A DIFFERENT KIND OF PENDULUM"
I'm only putting this one on the list cuz I'd love to re-release this album by the kids in Palos Verdes who split up a few years ago and became THE PAJAMAS, THE HUSHPUPPIES, and any other spinter groups they formed. I still have yet to get permission from 2/3rds of the band to bring this one to reality. CD would be a very nice choice to put this out on. Wait and see, I guess.

POPULAR GIRL
Will these kids ever put out an official album?!? Last time I checked in (last week) they were re-recording songs for the full length and did a couple tracks for a few comps on various labels. They are also looking for a full-time drummer so they don't have to switch around as much. I can't wait for it to be finished cuz so far it sounds great!
