STAR WARS

More often than not, when telling stories I always refer back to this time, when I was a kid, and all I wanted to do was play with Star Wars toys and produce my own magazines. The joke, obviously, is that's pretty much what I've ended up doing with my life. One of the main topics in the comic books I drew when I was a little kid was Star Wars. In fact, I ended up drawing several entire artbooks' full of these comics and random Star Wars related drawings. This is probably not a surprise to anyone that knows me because I have a billion-trillion Star Wars toys all over my house.

In "celebration" of the release of the 3rd and final episode of the Star Wars films, I've decided to share some of what I like to call my personal works of childhood genius, also known as those weird Star Wars comics I wrote as a kid. The first book I ever completed of these comics is filled with chapter after chapter of some of the weirdest stories I've ever come up with. They rarely have much dialogue and when they did, it was always very limited. It was my minimalist period I guess. This one here, is actually the first one I ever drew - at the ripe age of six years old. I know how impressed you must be, so keep checking back because I may grace your eyes with more of them within the next few months.

Until then, I present to you 'Lil Chris Beyond's Star Wars Episode I - "THE BIG MAN." I even made a "fancy" new cover just in case you want to print these out for whatever strange reason may possess you to do such a weird thing. But really, who am I to judge if you would print them out being that I have kept them and am publishing them. Click the images below to see the comics and my silly post-modern explanations as to what I was thinking back then.
