THIS IS OUR 'EMPIRE STRIKES BACK'
So here we are in the 2nd of three (or more?) planned issues in the NO-FInite Crisis series of No-Fi "Magazine"; A series created to help us catch up for the times that we fell down, fell over, or just plain fell OFF when we had special articles and interviews planned and announced...but then never got to them because of technical, personal, or timing problems.

Back when we did the paper version of the magazine, time was rarely an issue because the hard deadlines and what few pages we had to work with made things a little easier on us. Once we transferred everything into an online format, we started posting things as we did them and as I explained in the last NO-FInite Crisis issue's Intro, things started getting behind and almost forgotten.

So in this issue we find ourselves still in the middle of a "crisis" where we are trying to clean house and get older issues back up to speed. I won't get into it as much right now because, as I said, you can go back and read all about it in Issue 57-B's Intro. We'll get it done, but it's going to take time and with all the great new "character's" who have joined No-Fi in the last few months, I really believe it's going to happen AND we'll be putting out great NEW issues at the same time.

So let me point out something special about this particular NON-Issue before I leave you to write some more. The cover of this issue was drawn by the amazingly talented and fantastically nice Rob Jones of Harbor Comics. I met him on Myspace after I put out a posting saying that we were looking for Superhero comic artists to draw the cover of one of our issues (the one you are reading right now). He stepped up to the plate and drew up a parody cover that was amazing from the first time I even saw the rough penciled version!

So for his marvelous work on our cover, we will be featuring a bio and gallery of some of his favorite works as well as a breakdown of who's who on the cover. Yes those are all No-Fi staffmembers and Cover characters!

So that's it for now. Keep checking in every day or so to see what we've finally put up. I'll let it be a surprise to you, but it's going to be good! It's a bit of an uphill battle to get all these things done, all while we're working on upcoming issues months ahead at the same time. But Garrett's got his vest on like Lando at the end of the film mentioned above and he's pulling out heroic articles for our future while we fix our past here.

Oh, and one last thing... We're still working on the No-Fi "Radio" redesign. There are going to be a lot of cool things coming that way...and also a revival of our dust and spiderweb covered Spiffy Records label.
